چکیده
Electric energy passes through many stages from production to usage, and electrical connections take place at these stages. Electrical are quite important for system safety quality. In this study, current-temperature relationship in the cable was investigated joints made with screw connection terminals, depending on torque applied screw. numerical solution of problem, Comsol Multiphysics program based Finite Element Method used first, screw-conductor interface torque, then electrical-thermal analysis performed geometry. Experimental studies were carried out demonstrate accuracy digital model, conductors terminals household installations taken into account studies. Amount deformation its effect current carrying capacity having investigated. appropriate value is 0.4 Nm, maximum temperature 45 oC contact surface. Also, it has been shown that optimum be copper conductor joint 1.5 mm2 cross section area Nm.

Electrical and Thermal Analysis of Single Conductor Power Cable Considering the Lead Sheath Effect Based on Finite Element Method
This paper investigates the effect of metallic sheaths on losses and temperature of medium voltage power cables. Two grounding methods of sheaths, including both ends bonding and single point bonding that causes different situations on cable ampacity, are considered. Electrical losses of cables that are main sources of heat are calculated in both conductor and metallic sheath of the cables. She...
متن کاملAnalysis of non-connected piled raft foundations (NCPRF) with cushion by finite element method
For the optimum design of Piled Raft Foundations (PRF), the concept of settlement reducer piles has been applied. However, when these piles are connected to the raft, a high stress may develop in the relatively small number of piles. Therefore, an alternative approach is to disconnect the piles from the raft forming a new system called a non-connected or disconnected piled-raft foundation (NCPR...

Mechanical Buckling Analysis of Composite Annular Sector Plate with Bean-Shaped Cut-Out using Three Dimensional Finite Element Method
In this paper, mechanical buckling analysis of composite annular sector plates with bean shape cut out is studied. Composite material sector plate made of Glass-Epoxy and Graphite-Epoxy with eight layers with same thickness but different fiber angles for each layer. Mechanical loading to form of uniform pressure loading in radial, environmental and biaxial directions is assumed. The method used...
متن کاملMicroprocessor Thermal Analysis using the Finite Element Method
The microelectronics industry is pursuing many options to sustain the performance improvement expected every two years. One method for performance improvement is scaling transistor sizes down such that many more transistors can be compacted on chip. The on-chip temperature is a concern because the reliability and performance can be degraded due to hot spots. Thermal modeling of the chip will al...
